The Set-up

  • Standing up with good posture

Coaching Points

  • One or both feet step/jump back as both hands touch the ground
  • Create a strong plank position
  • From here you do a push-up
  • Standing tall again by jumping/stepping feet together
  • Finishing as if you were standing up with good posture

Quality Criteria

  • Elbows 30 degree out from body in push-up
  • No unfinished push-up, use full Range of Motion in the push-up phase (chest to ground)
  • No arch of lower back (Slinking up)
  • No shoulder shrug to ears as you push up
  • No rounding of lower back in jump/step up
